Old Harbor Distilling Co. Vodka

Old Harbor Distilling Co. Vodka comes from one of San Diego's own craft distilleries, founded in the East Village in 2014 by Michael Skubic, who also co-founded Hess Brewing. Old Harbor built its name on small-batch spirits made with California ingredients, from its Barrelrider Gin to its Ampersand Coffee Liqueur, and this vodka is the clean, versatile core of the lineup. Distilled and filtered for a neutral, smooth spirit and bottled at 40% ABV.

It is soft and clean on the palate with a gentle sweetness and a crisp finish, made for the drinks San Diego actually orders: vodka sodas, Moscow mules, espresso martinis with Old Harbor's own coffee liqueur, and Bloody Marys on a Sunday. Supporting a local distillery has never been easier, and it is a great bottle to bring to a Pacific Beach house party.
